Since CPAexcel will be attending the American Society of Women Accountants regional meeting in Seattle this weekend, we thought it was time to answer the age-old question which has been plaguing mankind (and womankind) since the invention of the abacus:

Over 10 years ago, CPAexcel decided to make a special effort to reach out to students. Yes, we offered a 20% discount on our course for college students but we took it a step further: we started a scholarship program, awarding CPA Review Course scholarships to students around the world.
In 2010, because of the stubborn economic down turn, CPAexcel decided that it needed to do more to support accounting students through college so we added money:a cash scholarship which the winner could use for any education-related expense such as tuition, room and board, books, and other fun things that make college just that much more enjoyable!
